The Acrobatic Patrol of France, better known under the name of Patrouille de France or PAF is a unit of aerobatics of the French Air Force created in 1953. A special unity within the French Air Force, this squadron aerobatic flight has the mission to represent the French Air Force and to be an ambassador of France throughout the world. The result of their training has fostered knowledge of French aeronautics in France and abroad.
Composed of 9 drivers and 35 mechanics, the opening of the meeting season is traditionally scheduled during the parade on July 14 in Paris with 9 Alpha jet aircraft.
